Benefits of Finding the Best TEFL Jobs

When I first started teaching English as a foreign language, I really had no idea about what to expect. There were so many agents and small schools publishing advertisements on the internet making all sorts of great offers and trying to convince me to travel to their country and to teach in their schools. It was really hard to know where to start.

At the same time I had heard many unfortunate stories about inexperienced teachers having bad experiences with some of these foreign “agents” or schools and things not working out exactly as they had hoped. It is definitely a bit of a mine field when starting off. Some of my friends had told about making agreements with some schools but when they actually arrived there to teach they realized that the living accommodation that they were promised was not anything like what they were told. Some English teachers didn’t get paid for months and others did not even get paid at all! I certainly didn’t want to find myself stranded in a foreign country with no backup or support network.

Choosing the right recruiters takes a bit of looking into but recruiters should never receive any money from your wages or your salaries. They should only hook you up the best schools and find for you the best living conditions where you would like to work. That is why I always use TEFL recruiters. They have a great team of staff, many of whom have been teachers before and they really do care that you find the English teaching job that you are looking for. They provide a great support network and you can be sure that when you choose your country and school with TEFL recruiters that what ever you are promised in the job offer will be exactly what you will get.

Teaching English as a foreign language can be one of the greatest experiences of your life, just make sure you are working with the right people and then take the leap. I am so grateful for the fantastic time I spent abroad and I will never forget it. I was also able to save a substantial amount of money and to pay off my university fees while travelling. I really hope more people can have the same experience that I had.
